Maddie is a Kauffman Fellow, Angel Investor and Founding Member of The Council. She is a frequent speaker at tech conferences and on podcasts, sharing expertise in across deep tech sectors. She is passionate about supporting founders and bringing more women into emerging tech leadership roles.

Maddie lives in San Francisco, docents at a local historic home, and is on the committee to rebuild Aquatic Park & Pier in her neighborhood backyard. She loves golf, tennis and skiing - and is learning how to bake with gluten free flours.

Maddie has a B.A. in Art History and Spanish from Denison University in Granville, Ohio.

Maddie Callander is a Partner at Boost VC, investing in pre-seed deep tech startups. As a part of the leadership team, she has invested in & supported over 450+ deep tech startups (aerospace, energy, climate, robotics, biotech, crypto/web3, virtual reality, & more), leads strategy for portfolio management and platform initiatives, and scaled operations as the firm has grown from $6M to $300M AUM.
