Mameaw Sapprasert

Mameaw holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand and an MSc in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management from Imperial College London.

Mameaw has built her career at the intersection of venture capital, financial markets, and emerging technology ecosystems across Southeast Asia.

She is currently Managing Partner of 500 TukTuks, a fund under 500 Global investing in promising Thai and Southeast Asian startups from Seed to Pre-Series A, and Orzon Ventures, a mobility and lifestyle-focused fund backed by OR (PTT Oil and Retail Business) investing at Series A and B. Beyond capital deployment, both funds equip portfolio companies with Silicon Valley-caliber education, networks, and talent to help them compete in local markets. Across her three funds, Mameaw has invested in over 100 deals.

Prior to venture capital, Mameaw worked as a Money-Market Dealer at Bangkok Bank, where she developed deep expertise in financial markets and capital management.

One of the first female venture capitalists in Thailand, Mameaw was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list in 2018, recognised as a Generation T honoree by Tatler Asia in 2019, and received Thailand Prime Minister Award as Evangelist of the Year in 2021.

Outside of work, Mameaw enjoys exploring good food, traveling, and skiing.
